Fields Covered
The Actom High Voltage Equipment Division is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2026 academic year.
Bursaries will be awarded to students pursuing studies in the following fields:
- Electrical Engineering (BEng / BSc)
- Industrial Engineering (BEng / BSc)
- Mechanical Engineering (BEng / BSc)
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria before applying. Failure to meet all requirements will result in disqualification:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Must be studying or intend to study towards one of the above-mentioned qualifications
- Must be studying or accepted to study at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa

- Download and complete the Actom Bursary Application Form 2026 (.pdf).
- Submit the form along with the following supporting documents (all documents must be certified where applicable):
- Certified copy of ID document
- Grade 11 final results and Matric June results (if currently in Matric)
- Certified copy of Matric certificate (if completed Matric)
- Full academic record, including the latest results (if currently studying)
- Receipt of fees and breakdown of financial requirements (issued by your tertiary institution)
- Certified proof of address
- Parents or guardians proof of income (latest payslips if employed; affidavit if unemployed; proof of SASSA grant or pension if applicable)
