Finsch Diamond Mine is one of Petra Diamonds’ key operations, and this learnership is an opportunity for youth to receive structured, hands-on training in the Ore Processing Plant.
About the Learnership
The Metallurgy Learnership Programme is a structured training opportunity within the Plant, specifically designed to give learners exposure to real mining operations. Candidates will work in the Ore Processing Plant, where they will be expected to carry out physical work, often in elevated areas and confined spaces.

Minimum Requirements

- Educational Background:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy, or
- N2 Mathematics (or equivalent).
- Science will be an added advantage.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Computer literacy.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Proof of residence is compulsory.
