The South African State Theatre is offering an exciting opportunity for young graduates to kick-start their careers through its Finance Internship Programme. This initiative is designed to provide recent graduates with valuable practical exposure in the finance environment of one of South Africa’s leading cultural institutions.
About the Internship
The programme will run for 12 months, giving interns the chance to develop skills and gain hands-on experience in a professional finance office. Interns will work alongside qualified and experienced finance professionals, gaining insight into processes such as budgeting, financial reporting, auditing, and compliance within a large public entity.
This opportunity not only equips participants with real-world knowledge but also increases their employability in both the public and private sectors. Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Finance or a related field
- Have 0 – 1 year relevant experience (graduates with no formal work experience are encouraged to apply)
- Be passionate about developing a career in finance
- Possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn

Stipend
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R6,270.00 for the duration of the internship. This allowance is meant to provide financial support while gaining practical workplace skills.
