Main Opportunities Available
- Contact Centre Trainee
This opportunity is tailored for young professionals who are friendly, articulate, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You will be the first point of contact for customers via calls, emails, and other communication channels. The role requires quick problem-solving skills, professionalism, and a commitment to ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Autoglass Trainee
For candidates with a technical interest, the Autoglass Trainee programme offers training in installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass across a wide variety of vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, technical ability, and a customer-first mindset while maintaining PG Glass’s high-quality service standards.
- Customer Service Consultant
Customer-facing professionals will find this role rewarding. You’ll manage the front desk of a Fitment Centre, ensure compliance with operational standards, and provide business consultation support to customers and staff. In the absence of a Fitment Centre Manager, you may also play a leadership role.
- Human Resources & Finance Trainee
If you are interested in the business side of operations, PG Glass offers opportunities to support both HR and Finance departments. This includes handling administrative and operational tasks while learning about the inner workings of a corporate environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following academic criteria:
- Matric Certificate (compulsory)
- Higher Education qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Business Management, Operations Management, Retail Management, or Marketing Management.
- Nated (N6) qualifications: Management Assistant, Business Management, Office Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Studies (Fitting & Turning), Human Resources Management, Financial Management, or Call Centre-related qualifications.
Skills and Attributes Required
- Excellent interpersonal and telephonic skills.
- Business expertise with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and administrative systems.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Self-motivated, with initiative and a willingness to learn.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Age between 18–29 years (applicants must already be 18).
- Must be unemployed and have no criminal record.
- Must not have participated in a YES4Youth programme before.
- A valid driver’s license is advantageous, but not mandatory.
