Who Should Apply?
- Basic Requirements
- A Grade 12 certificate and a clean criminal record
- Valid Code B or C1 driver’s licence
- Ability to meet physical fitness standards, specifically the CPAT (Candidate Physical Ability Test), plus a passing medical exam
- Language and Availability
- Strong communication in at least two Western Cape official languages
- Flexibility for shift work, overtime, and mobility across stations

While not required, qualifications such as Firefighting 1 & 2, HazMat, and additional certifications are beneficial
