The Unisa Enterprise, in partnership with the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA), is opening doors for 30 unemployed graduates in Gauteng Province. This exciting Graduate Internship Programme is designed to provide both workplace experience and entrepreneurial training, giving participants the tools to succeed in South Africa’s fast-growing digital economy.

Who Can Apply?

The internship is open to unemployed South African citizens who meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related ICT field.
  • Must reside in Gauteng Province.
  • Have access to a personal laptop.
  • Must be available for the full programme duration.

Equity Targets: Preference will be given in line with national equity goals – 85% Black, 54% female, and 4% persons with disabilities. This ensures inclusivity and transformation within the ICT sector.

Application Requirements

Interested candidates must prepare and submit the following documents:

  1. Certified copy of your South African ID (stamped within the last 3 months).
  2. Certified copies of qualification certificates.
  3. A comprehensive CV and a motivational application letter.
  4. An affidavit from the police station confirming you are not currently enrolled in another SETA-funded programme.
