Duties & Responsibilities
As a learner, you will be exposed to the day-to-day realities of mining operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Attending safety inductions and adhering to mine health and safety rules.
- Assisting with the collection and preparation of plant samples.
- Taking part in problem-solving and plant improvement projects.
- Monitoring plant operations under supervision.
- Demonstrating professionalism, punctuality, and a strong willingness to learn.
This exposure ensures that you not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical, job-ready skills.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Proof of residence within the John Taolo Gaetsewe District (including high school attended).
- Ability to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate.
- Successful completion of a Dover Assessment (as part of recruitment).
