Mechanical Fitters install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment such as pumps, turbines, and heavy machinery.

Positions Available: 10
Electricians work on electrical infrastructure, industrial systems, and power installations. This trade remains in high demand across construction, manufacturing, and energy sectors.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following academic criteria:
For Fitter and Turner or Mechanical Fitter:
- Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics (Technical subjects are an advantage)
- NCV Level 2–4: Fitting and Turning (21 subjects completed)
- OR N2–N6 Mechanical Engineering (with Fitter and Turner Trade Theory)
For Electricians:
- Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics (Technical subjects advantageous)
- NCV Level 2–4: Electrical Infrastructure and Construction (21 subjects completed)
- OR N2–N6 Electrical Engineering
Additional Conditions
- Applicants must be under 35 years of age
- Preference given to students who studied at South West Gauteng TVET College
- All candidates will undergo assessment processes
- Successful candidates will enter into a relevant ETQA agreement and employment contract
