Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the SASSA Grants Administrator (Level 05) positions, applicants must meet the following:
Educational Qualification
An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) recognised by SAQA in any of the following fields:
- Public Administration
- Business Administration
- Economics
- Development Studies
- Finance
- Accounting
- Commerce
- Social Sciences
- Social Security
Added Advantage
- A valid driver’s licence
- Administrative or clerical experience
Key Duties (What You Will Do)
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Provide grant customer care services with professionalism and empathy.
- Screen and capture grant applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage beneficiary maintenance functions.
- Coordinate and administer medical bookings and assessments.
- Provide off-site grant application services to communities.
- Handle scanning and batching of grant files.
This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to serving vulnerable citizens.
