Rand Refinery, one of the world’s largest gold refineries, has opened applications for its Engineering Graduate Programme 2025, an exciting 18-month development initiative designed to bridge the gap between university and the professional workplace. This opportunity is specifically aimed at recent graduates between the ages of 25 and 35 who are eager to gain real-world experience while learning from experts in a niche, highly technical business environment.

The graduate programme focuses on structured training, mentorship, and exposure to Rand Refinery’s end-to-end value chain. Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Completed Matric qualification.
  • Successfully completed an Engineering NQF Level 7 qualification (with an overall 75% average) in one of the following fields:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Instrumentation Engineering
    • Analytical Chemistry
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Metallurgical Engineering

Only applicants who meet the minimum 75% aggregate requirement will be considered.

 

 

Application Documents Required

When applying, candidates must upload the following:

  1. A detailed 2-page CV.
  2. Certified copy of ID document.
  3. Certified copy of Matric certificate.
  4. Certified copies of academic transcripts and qualification certificates.
  5. A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with a breakdown of all modules/subjects completed, individual marks obtained, and an overall average (calculated by summing marks and dividing by the total number of modules). Note: Applications without this spreadsheet will not be considered.

Guidelines for the Excel Document

  • Step 1: List all completed modules/subjects.
  • Step 2: Insert marks obtained for each module.
  • Step 3: Calculate your overall average (sum of marks ÷ total number of modules).
