About the Bursary Programme
The PPS Foundation Bursary Programme provides financial assistance to talented students pursuing tertiary education in South Africa. By supporting academically driven individuals from financially constrained households, the foundation ensures that financial hardship does not stand in the way of educational success and future potential.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have a minimum academic average of 65%.
- Have a combined household income of R1,000,000 or less per annum.
These criteria ensure that bursary opportunities are directed towards academically strong students who genuinely need financial assistance.
Required Supporting Documents
Applicants must upload the following valid and legible supporting documents when submitting their applications:
- Full Academic Transcript or Results:
- Must be on an official institutional letterhead.
- Matriculants and first-year applicants must submit preliminary academic results by 20 December 2025.
- Final academic transcripts will be requested from shortlisted candidates by 16 January 2026.
- Proof of Household Income (select one as applicable):
- Recent payslips of parent(s) or guardian(s) if employed.
- A signed affidavit if parent(s)/guardian(s) are unemployed.
- Death certificate(s) if parent(s)/guardian(s) are deceased.
- Certified Copy of South African ID:
- Must be clear, valid, and certified within the last 3 months.
