Letaba TVET College, in collaboration with AGRISETA, is excited to announce the 2025/2026 Plant Production Learnership Programme. This opportunity is designed to provide unemployed South African youth with practical training and knowledge in the agricultural sector. With 100 available posts, this 12-month programme aims to equip learners with vital agricultural skills that will not only improve their employability but also contribute to the growth of South Africa’s farming and agri-business industries.
About the Learnership
The Plant Production Learnership is a full-time 12-month programme fully funded by AGRISETA. It blends theoretical learning with hands-on, practical training in agricultural environments, giving participants the opportunity to gain skills that are essential for farming, crop production, and food security initiatives.
Successful learners will benefit from:
- Exposure to agricultural best practices.
- Practical experience in plant production systems.
- A nationally recognized qualification upon successful completion.
- Improved prospects for employment or entrepreneurship within the agricultural sector.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Possess a minimum of Grade 12 (Matric).
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
- Be eager to pursue a career in agriculture and willing to commit to the full 12-month programme.
Preference will be given to youth who demonstrate passion and interest in agriculture, as this programme is intended to uplift rural communities and contribute to sustainable development.
