Learnership Opportunities
Idwala is inviting applications for MQA-registered Learnerships in the following disciplines:
- Instrumentation Mechanician
- Fitter
- Diesel Mechanic
- Boilermaker
- Electrician
Successful candidates will be enrolled in the Unemployed (18.2) Learnership Programme, which leads to a formal artisan qualification after completion.
Key Performance Areas
Learners accepted into the programme will:
- Work in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
- Be willing to work shifts, depending on operational needs.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including medical fitness assessments.
- Commit fully to the structured learnership process.
Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science (or Technical Mathematics and Technical Science).
- N2 subjects relevant to the chosen discipline.
- Be currently unemployed.
- Must be a South African citizen, with preference given to residents of Danielskuil, Northern Cape.
- Must pass a medical fitness test and provide a valid certificate.
