Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited is opening doors for young South Africans through its Internship and P1/P2 Experiential Training Opportunities for 2025. This programme is designed for graduates, diplomates, and students who require workplace exposure to complete their qualifications. It is a life-changing opportunity that provides both career development and practical industry experience in one of South Africa’s leading mining companies.

Who Can Apply?

The internships are open to:

• Graduates and Diplomates with completed tertiary qualifications from accredited South African universities or colleges.
• Students requiring P1/P2 exposure (must submit a recent institutional letter confirming the requirement).
• Local community members where Harmony operates, as well as children of Harmony employees.
• Applicants must be South African citizens, under the age of 35, and reside in the following districts:
  • Free State: Lejweleputswa, Matjhabeng, Masilonyana
  • North West: Dr Kenneth Kaunda, Ratlou, Moqhaka
  • Gauteng: City of Johannesburg, Merafong City, West Rand

Applicants must not have previously benefited from a similar internship programme. Successful candidates will undergo a medical examination and security screening before placement.
