Flavius Mareka TVET College is proud to announce an exciting learnership training opportunity for individuals who are passionate about agriculture and eager to build a career in the field of plant production. Through a partnership with AGRISETA, the college invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the Plant Production Learnership (NQF Level 3). This structured programme offers practical and theoretical learning over 8 to 12 months, empowering learners with skills that contribute directly to food security, agribusiness, and sustainable farming practices.
About the Learnership
The Plant Production Learnership is designed to help young people gain the essential knowledge and hands-on experience needed to thrive in agriculture. This programme not only enhances employability but also prepares learners for future entrepreneurial ventures in farming and related industries. Successful candidates will receive training and exposure at the Kroonstad Campus of Flavius Mareka TVET College.
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this learnership, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Be South African citizens aged between 18 to 35 years old.
- Hold a Grade 12 certificate (Matric).
- Proof of agricultural background will serve as an added advantage.

- A comprehensive CV.
- Originally certified copies of ID and qualifications (not older than 3 months).
- Proof of residence.
- ID copy of next of kin.
