The Engineers in Training (EIT) Program at Eskom, South Africa’s largest energy utility, is still helping to build the future of engineering talent. This organized program gives qualified graduates in Mechanical and Metallurgical Engineering a great chance to get hands-on experience, grow professionally, and get advice while helping to make the country’s energy supply more secure.
There are four positions available in the program. Its goal is to help young engineers get ready for the real world by giving them real-world problems to solve in one of South Africa’s most important industries.

Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
- Fully Completed Engineering Degree, B Eng/BSC Eng (Mechanical/Metallurgy)
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be unemployed and not doing full time studies
Selection Criteria
- Should not be studying full time in the year of employment
- Should not have participated registered on an internship programme before
