Basic Requirements
- Be a South African citizen.
- Live in Molteno or Sterkstroom (Eastern Cape).
- Be in Matric OR have already completed Matric.
- Be accepted or enrolled at a recognised tertiary institution in SA.
- Show clear financial need.
- Not be funded by any other bursary.
Academic Requirements
University Applicants
- Minimum 60% average in subjects linked to your intended qualification.
- Minimum 60% average in the 2025 academic year, if already at university.
TVET / FET Applicants
- Minimum 50% average in subjects linked to your qualification.
- If already studying at a college, you must pass at least three core vocational modules with 50% or more.

- Youth from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
