Dorper Wind Farm Bursary Programme 2026

Dorper Wind Farm Bursary Programme 2026

The Dorper Wind Farm is one of South Africa’s leading renewable energy projects, located in the Eastern Cape. With a generation capacity of approximately 100 MW, the wind farm supplies clean electricity to thousands of South African households, helping reduce the country’s reliance on fossil fuels.

The project forms part of South Africa’s broader mission to transition towards renewable energy, combat climate change, and create sustainable development opportunities—especially within nearby host communities such as Molteno and Sterkstroom.

Through its Inkqwithelo Zotshintsho Bursary Programme, Dorper Wind Farm invests directly in the youth of these communities to build future educators, engineers, scientists, artisans, and technical professionals.
