What You Will Do
This opportunity is ideal for young people eager to learn, gain practical experience, and enter the logistics industry. DHL is seeking diligent, motivated, and adaptable individuals who can handle physical tasks and follow operational processes with integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and follow DHL’s service standards and client requirements.
- Use equipment correctly and report any issues or defects immediately.
- Record and report customer merchandise non-conformities.
- Work across different operational areas as required by business needs.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and comply with safety protocols.
- Assist with loading, offloading, packaging, sorting, and general logistics tasks.
- Carry out instructions from team leaders, supervisors, and managers.
Requirements
To qualify for one of the 25 DHL YES learnership posts, you must meet the following:
Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)
- Matric certificate with English and Mathematics/Maths Literacy.
- South African citizen (ID required).
- Must be 18–29 years old.
- Must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Must meet BBBEE requirements (Previously disadvantaged individuals).
Advantageous (Nice-to-Have but Not Required)
- Code 08 Driver’s Licence.
- Forklift or Reach Truck Licence.
