If you want to build a strong foundation in office administration, data management, SETA processes, and reporting, this internship is the perfect stepping stone. About AgriSETA
AgriSETA is one of South Africa’s official Sector Education and Training Authorities responsible for promoting skills development in the agricultural sector. Their Skills Planning & Research Division plays a major role in analysing skills gaps, managing reporting systems, and ensuring that accurate data is available for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
Data Capturing
- Maintain and update the AgriSETA database.
- Implement quality control checks.
- Provide weekly data reports to the Assistant Manager.
- Retrieve reports from the Management Information System (Indicium).
- Prepare quarterly SETMIS reports.
- Compile reports required by DHET and management.
- Produce performance information reports.
- Analyse data trends.
- Maintain documentary proof of captured information.
- Verify, enroll and authorise learner information for learning programmes.
Data Management
- Compile data on request.
- Maintain various datasets across the division.
Administration
- Assist with general administrative tasks.
- Keep admin processes organised and up to date.
Ad-hoc Duties
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Assistant Manager: Reporting.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
You must have one of the following (or an equivalent):
- N6, or
- Diploma, or
- Relevant qualification in:
- Office Administration
- Office Management
- Any related field
Core Competencies Needed
- Advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Strong administrative skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- A team player with good communication skills
