The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Academy (ACRA) is a fully accredited training and trade test centre recognised by QCTO, NAMB, DHET, and SARACCA. Programme Description
ACRA is compiling a database of qualifying candidates who wish to be considered for future intakes into the HWSETA-funded Apprenticeship in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
Successful candidates will be placed at the nearest ACRA branch to receive a combination of:
- Classroom-based theoretical training
- Practical workshop training
- Workplace-based experiential learning
Branches include:
- Kempton Park, Gauteng
- Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal
- Kimberley, Northern Cape
This is a full apprenticeship pathway aimed at producing qualified refrigeration and air-conditioning technicians.
Requirements
To qualify for the ACRA HWSETA Apprenticeship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
