Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for this internship programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: Diploma/Higher Qualification or N6 + Diploma graduates from TVET Colleges.
  • Fields of Study: Electro-Mechanical Engineering and Instrumentation Mechanician.
  • Employment Status: Must be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Health Requirements: Medically fit for both surface and underground service in the mining industry.
  • Citizenship: South African citizens only.
  • Accommodation: Candidates should have their own accommodation.

These requirements ensure that the programme admits candidates who are both academically ready and practically capable of contributing to the mining environment.
