  • I like how the requirements are very clear: an LLB (or equivalent), 2+ years post-qualification experience, and admission as an attorney. No guesswork there—it’s a solid mid‑level legal gig that offers real courtroom exposure.

The responsibilities are diverse—everything from High Court and Labour Court work to arbitration, drafting agreements, debt collection, and departmental legal opinions. That’s a great mix if you’re into both advocacy and advisory work. And the emphasis on skills like case‑flow management, legal drafting, and integrity shows they want someone who can juggle courtroom work with strategic legal thinking.

It’s also helpful that they remind applicants to use the updated Z83 form, include certified credentials or SAQA certificates, and send everything in before the May 14 deadline. It’s those admin details that trip people up, so good they flagged it.
