What the role involves

This internship places you in the heart of the finance function for an e‑commerce business. You’ll provide critical support to accounts payable, accounts receivable and reporting processes, help prepare for weekly and month‑end routines, and contribute to process improvements and small projects. Expect a high volume of transactional work that requires close attention and constant prioritisation.

Duties and responsibilities

Process invoices and payments quickly and accurately.
Match purchase orders (POs), goods received notes (GRNs) and invoices with forensic accuracy.
Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Manage finance inboxes and queries to maintain a smooth workflow.
Assist with weekly runs and month‑end preparation.
Spot gaps in processes and suggest practical improvements.
Support ad hoc finance projects and reporting tasks.
Use tools and automation (including AI experiments) to make finance work faster and smarter.
Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as required.
