Through a partnership between Gert Sibande TVET College and AgriSETA, a fully funded 12-month internship programme has officially opened — placing graduates into real commercial farming organisations across the Gert Sibande region.

This is not theory.
This is not classroom-based learning.
This is paid workplace experience in the agricultural economy.

Who Is This Internship For?

This opportunity is strictly for NCV Primary Agriculture graduates from Gert Sibande TVET College.

You qualify if:

  • You completed NCV Primary Agriculture (NQF Level 2, 3, or 4)
  • You are between 18 and 35 years old
  • You are currently unemployed
  • You are not studying, training, or registered for any learnership
  • You have no criminal record
  • You are proficient in English
  • You are willing to work in changing climate and farming environments

Important: Graduates from other colleges are not eligible.

Duration

  • 12 months (full year)
  • Continuous workplace exposure in farming organisations
  • Structured experience aligned with agriculture services

Where Will You Be Placed?

Interns will be placed within:

  • Commercial farming organisations
  • Agricultural service environments
  • Rural and semi-rural work settings

This means real conditions, real production cycles, and real responsibility.

Documents Required

Your application must include ALL of the following:

  1. Updated CV
  2. Originally certified copy of ID
    • Certification must be not older than 6 months
  3. Originally certified copies of:
    • Matric certificate (if applicable)
    • NCV Primary Agriculture certificates (NQF 2–4)

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
