About the Finance Graduate Internship Programme
The Eskom Finance Internship is designed to give graduates entry-level experience in corporate finance, budgeting, reporting, forecasting, risk assessment, and financial governance. Interns will work closely with the Finance Centre of Excellence (COE) team and gain exposure to major financial processes that support one of South Africa’s biggest organisations.
You will learn how finance supports operational decisions, business sustainability, and strategic planning. This is real hands-on training — not just observation.
Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Graduate Intern, you will play an active role in supporting Eskom’s Finance team through:
- Supporting Finance COE initiatives and business requirements
- Participating in Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality activities
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting tasks
- Identifying improvement areas and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Applying accounting concepts and financial principles in day-to-day work
- Supporting financial risk assessments and decision-making activities
