This is an administrative and support position within the CTICC Human Capital team. You will be a central coordinator for practical HR activities that keep day‑to‑day people operations running smoothly: advertising vacancies, organising interviews, helping with new‑starter induction and access, coordinating training matters, maintaining personnel files and supporting employee relations administration.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment process: advertise vacancies internally and externally, assist with application database management, arrange interviews and prepare interview packs for panels.
  • Support pre‑employment checks: assist with reference, qualification, criminal and credit screening processes.
  • Assist with induction tasks: complete IT activation/deactivation forms, arrange access cards, ID and parking cards, and coordinate staff uniform and name badge issuance with vendors and departments.
  • Help manage training and development administration: coordinate training initiatives, update the monthly training report and assist with submissions for the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR).
  • Support employee relations administration: update disciplinary trackers and grievance records as required.
  • Perform general Human Capital administrative duties and ad‑hoc projects: create and maintain employee files, maintain organograms, take minutes at meetings, support long service awards, staff socials and employee wellness activities, and assist with documentation for HC audits.

Requirements explained clearly

  • Qualification: National Diploma in Human Resource Management or any HR‑related field (NQF Level 6).
  • Computer skills: Comfortable with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Personal attributes and skills:
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
    • A willingness and eagerness to learn and develop in HR practice.
    • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and external vendors.
    • Professional, confident and service‑orientated ‘can‑do’ attitude.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritise and work to deadlines.
    • Discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Who should consider applying

This role is a fit if you have an HR diploma (NQF Level 6), basic HR exposure and strong administrative capability.
