The Process Control Technician will be responsible for providing effective instrumentation and controls support to all CCBSA operations. This will include debugging and troubleshooting automation and control systems, including PLC’s, HMI’s, servos and instrumentation. The PCT will also assist in creating drawings, including schematics, P&ID, control panels designs. The PCT will develop calibration procedures for process instruments as well as coach understanding of process controls and the troubleshooting thereof. The PCT will report to the Process Control Engineer and will assist in problem solving, C&A asset management and enhancing operational performance.

  • Emptying and cleaning of waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Group Lead: Supply Chain BI and Analytics. This is a senior level resource in the Planning team and they use their skills to make business insights and analytics available to Supply Chain colleagues for business decision making. The position is the custodian of the SC Metrics as defined for CCBA Supply Chain and they create analytics dashboards and own the development, set-up, testing and user training for such initiatives.

The Group Lead: Supply Chain Analytics is responsible for enabling good business decision making and improved management of the Supply Chain function by understanding, identifying, and addressing the data, analytics, and business insight requirements for the function. This employee must develop a deep insight into the operating models, work processes and accountabilities of Supply Chain so that they can envision and identify where the use of data, analytics and business insights can have an impact on the successful management of the function.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Supply Chain Network and Capacity Planning Manager, and may reside any of the CCBA footprint of countries: South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia & Zambia.

This employee takes responsibility for the oversight of Supply Chain data from a business perspective by identifying the data types required, providing data descriptions, creating the rules for data definition, and proposing solutions for issues regarding data usage, storage, and management. They also lead efforts to perform data audits and ensuring that data errors are addressed to improve the quality and integrity of the SC data sets. They encourage the correct capturing and usage of data by fellow SC colleagues by undertaking training, presentations, and audits. They provide some user support, training, coaching and advice on the use and interpretation of the Supply Chain analytics. The Group Lead: Supply Chain Analytics acts as liaison between the Supply Chain and Group Information Technology functions. They ensure that the interests of the Supply Chain are represented when general data and analytics decisions are made and solutions are designed, and they keep the Supply Chain function up to date on the evolution of the BI and Data services in the organisation. They work closely with their Supply Chain colleagues to understand the content, cadence and flow of different processes and they study and understand the key metrics that need to be tracked and monitored. They use this information to design and develop the analytics required for Supply Chain (incl. Manufacturing, Logistics and Planning) decision making. They are responsible for bringing Supply Chain data and insights to life through creative visualisation and “data story telling” to drive rapid analytics-based decision making in Supply Chain. The Group Lead: Supply Chain Analytics will use data visualisation tools to design analytics dashboards and they own the development, set-up, testing and user training for such initiatives.

  • Managing deviations and escalating roadblocks.
  • Managing project resources assigned to the project.
  • Sharing insights, technical documentation and lessons learnt during the data.
  • Collaborating with the IT Business Intelligence and Data team to leverage skills, systems and methodologies.
  • Meeting regularly with his/her team members and his/her manager to report progress, raise issues and brainstorm solutions.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION  

Qualifications:

  • The minimum qualification required for this position is a first degree or diploma in mathematics, statistics, or BI Reporting.
  • An advanced qualification in any of these disciplines will be an advantage.

Experience:

  • 10 to 12 years’ work experience with at least 4 years work with business information systems, data models, mathematical algorithms, or data mining.
  • Advantageous if, experience in Analysing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI

We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Governance Controller role, which is based in CCBSA Head Office, Midrand. The successful candidate will report directly to the Internal Control Manager in CCBSA Head Office, Midrand.

The primary purpose of this role is to:

  • Provide independent testing of processes, procedures and controls throughout CCBSA
  • Provide detailed feedback to line management and agree corrective action plans with deadlines
  • Collaborate with CCBSA Compliance Manager to ensure annual testing plan is aligned to the CCBSA risk profile

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES                  

Key Outputs and Accountabilities  

Sarbanes Oxley, Internal and External Audit:

  • Test internal controls in accordance with TCCC Risk and Control model
  • Test proposed documented processes and procedures to ensure that efficiencies and effectiveness within the operation are not negatively impacted
  • Monitor internal and external audit findings are closed out within agreed deadlines
  • Provide independent testing assurance in identified high risk areas

 

CSA – Control Self-Assessment:

  • Collaborate with Internal controls team for proposed changes to CSA’s
