Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: An appropriate Diploma/Degree qualification (NQF level 6) or higher in the following fields: Information
Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field focusing on E-learning/Systems Administration.
Experience: Appropriate experience in training, development, and e-learning system administration.
Appropriate experience working with Moodle or similar Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Appropriate experience in Instructional Design and digital content creation.
Appropriate experience engaging internal/external stakeholders and delivering system reports.
Inherent requirement of the job: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Willing to work irregular hours when required.
Competencies (knowledge /skills): Strong technical knowledge of Learner Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning support.
Excellent project management, organizational, and planning skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate, data-driven system reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with problem-solving capabilities.
Duties
Maintain the Learning Management System, manage system access, provide help desk support, and resolve system-related queries.
Create, develop, and monitor digital content for the MyLearn application, ensuring alignment with departmental values.
Supervise content creators and facilitators while engaging with subject matter experts to meet online training objectives.
Collaborate with management to define platform strategies/policies, and provide quarterly reports on user activity, completion rates, and system
challenges.
Liaise actively with various stakeholders such as the People Development Centre, the Online Academy, and other relevant internal role
players.
