Requirements
A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent, Basic Traffic Diploma plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Traffic Management or an
equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA).
3 – 5 years working experience in Traffic Law Enforcement field; Valid Driver’s Licence.
A minimum 3 years’ experience as Provincial Inspector.
The applicants must not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm as contemplated in the Firearm Control Act, 2000 (Act no 60
of 2000), or other relevant legislation.
No Criminal record.

Duties
Enforce Road Traffic, Public Passenger, Transport and other relevant legislations.
Examine Drivers’ Licenses and Motor Vehicles and monitor compliance at Driver License Testing Centers (DLTC) and Vehicle Testing
Stations (VTS).
Provide visible Traffic Control/Policing and promote/ensure crime prevention activities.
Perform all administrative activities and related duties.
Assess Road conditions.
Mentor and coach Provincial Inspectors (PI’s) on probation and appointed PI’s
