Visual Design Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of visual learning materials, including: Visual boards and design layouts, PDF guides and learning resources, PowerPoint presentations, Emailers and digital communications 

• Support the development and editing of video content for learning initiatives. 

• Assist with photography and videography projects where required. 

• Translate creative briefs into clear, engaging, and visually appealing designs. 

• Contribute fresh and innovative ideas that enhance learner engagement. 

• Ensure design outputs align with brand and organisational guidelines. 

• Assist with content preparation, asset management, and quality checking of design materials. 

• Stay up to date with design, social media, retail, and digital learning trends. 

Qualifications

• A Degree, Diploma, or relevant 3-year qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. 

• A portfolio showcasing design projects, academic work, or personal creative work. 

• Basic understanding of design principles including layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy. 

• Exposure to digital design and content creation.

• A passion for creativity, learning, and visual storytelling 

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign 

• Familiarity with creative software and AI content creation tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, Vyond, Synthesia, ChatGPT or Midjourney, would be advantageous but is not essential.
