Purpose of the Role

As a Junior Property Consultant, you’ll meet with prospective investors in scheduled online consultations and help qualified clients make informed decisions about property investment opportunities. You’ll explain relevant figures and processes clearly, respond to questions, and guide clients through the closing process, including securing their commitment and managing the deal towards completion. Clients are supported throughout their investment journey, with education and resources to help them understand topics such as saving, asset protection and property investing. Many investors begin with one property and grow their portfolios over time.

You’ll receive detailed training and support from Senior Strategists as you build your product knowledge, confidence and independent closing ability.

Main Outcomes

• Convert qualified property investment consultations into successful client commitments and deals.
  
• Help clients understand the relevant property and investment figures so they can make informed decisions.
  
• Maintain accurate, timely records of each consultation and its outcome in the CRM system.
  
• Build strong closing capability while working towards consistent performance against clear targets.
  
• Deliver a professional, honest and helpful client experience in both Afrikaans and English.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct approximately 10–15 scheduled online consultations each day with prospective property investors.
  
• Understand the client’s needs and explain relevant investment opportunities, figures and processes clearly.
  
• Respond to client questions, address concerns and guide the conversation towards a clear next step.
  
• Confidently ask for the client’s commitment and manage the deal through the required stages.
  
• Record consultation notes, outcomes and follow-up actions accurately in the CRM system.
  
• Work with Senior Strategists for guidance and support as you develop your skills and deal-closing capability.
  
• Maintain professional and honest communication with clients and colleagues.
  
• Take ownership of your activity, follow-through and results in a target-driven environment.
  

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with:

• At least one year of sales or client-facing experience; one to two years would be ideal. Experience in consultative sales, client advisory, appointment-based selling or a similar role would be relevant.
  
• Confidence in guiding conversations, explaining an offer or process, responding to questions and progressing a client towards a decision.
  
• Fluency in both Afrikaans and English, with the ability to close deals in both languages.
  
• Strong numerical understanding and the ability to understand and explain property and investment figures.
  
• A professional, honest and reliable approach to working with clients.
  
• A target-driven mindset, sound organisation and consistent follow-through.
  
• Comfort using a CRM or willingness to learn and use one consistently.
  
• Willingness to complete any required PPRA registration and training within the expected timeframe.
  

A financial background or degree would be advantageous. Previous property or investment experience would also be useful, but the role includes detailed training and support for someone ready to build a career in property investment.

Progression is optional once the required number of completed deals at each level has been reached. Progression to Senior Strategist also requires management approval.
