Requirements

A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
No experience required.
Special requirements (Skills needed): Knowledge of clerical duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collecting statistics.
Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
Knowledge of working procedures in terms of the working environment.
Planning and organisation skills, Computer literacy.
Proven ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally).
Language skills.

Duties

A successful candidate will be responsible to perform the following core functions: Render general clerical support services such as; record, organize, store, capture correspondence and data.
Handle routine enquiries.
Make photocopies and receive or send facsimiles.
Distribute documents/packages to various stakeholders as required.
Type letters and/or other correspondence when required.
Keep and maintain the incoming and outgoing documents register of the office.
