Requirements

Grade 12 / Senior certificate with minimum of 1–2 years’ relevant experience.
A relevant National Diploma/ Degree (at least 360 credits) will serve as an added advantage.
Computer literacy that would include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Duties

The incumbent will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks which includes but are not limited to the following: Records management of preparation of verification files: Verify information supplied by applicants.
Prepare verification 69 files for verification team.
Monitor and account file movement and distribute files to verifiers or Researchers.
Provide and distribute of special pension research.
Information to researcher.
Provide administrative support to the unit: Render administrative support to the verification team.
Follow up on cases file not verified.
Provide input into the statistics for management decision making.
Liaise and interact with relevant organisations to validate information for special pension status determination.
Compliance with special pensions and GPAA legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
Dealing with Client services: Acknowledge, respond and resolve client queries, enquiries and complaints within verification.
Record Client queries.
