POST 4: CREDIT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR – MULTIMEDIA/E-COMMERCE

Our Customer Services department requires a supervisor with a real passion for retail and commitment to a high level of customer service, to work in our Multimedia Department and Ecommerce team.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the day to day management of a team of agents and to drive excellent service delivery through coaching and team engagement.

WORKING HOURS:

  • Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
  • Saturday 09:00 am – 14:00 pm

*Please note that working hours are subject to change depending on business requires

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES           

  • Motivate agents to achieve team / business goals
  • Identify training needs, sharing these with the Department manager and Training team
  • Be a subject matter expert supporting and facilitating training sessions with team members
  • Recognize and acknowledge high performance and accomplishments
  • Ensure that all behaviours are addressed immediately
  • Communicates information in a timely, accurate and understood manner to all team members
  • Drive the focus on improving the customer experience on every interaction through call listening, quality checking, coaching and feedback

POST 5: RECOVERIES LIASON – CREDIT CLERK

Our Recoveries department requires an individual with an enquiring mind and a real passion for customer service, to work in their Recoveries Team. The Recoveries Team forms part of the Credit Services function of Truworths with the main function of rendering customer services on accounts that are outsourced for debt collection. We deal with queries from customers, stores and external debt collection agencies.

An exciting role has become available for a recoveries liaison within our Recoveries Team that forms part of the Credit Services Department at Truworths.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES           

  • Resolve email and telephonic queries from internal and external stakeholders, as well as customers, which relates to any account outsourced for collection or recovery.
  • Accurately assess communication/ requests/ queries and respond in line with the SLA.
  • Ensure customer account records and internal systems are timeously and accurately maintained.
  • Action workflow queues promptly and appropriately.
  • Accurately process ad hoc journals and/or allocate payments to accounts.
  • Identify and escalate problematic queries timeously.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Call Centre (customer service, collections and/or sales) experience
  • Vision and CAS experience (advantageous)
  • Ability to speak an African language (advantageous)
  • Understanding of Debt Review and Sequestration process (advantageous)
  • Clear criminal and credit record

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES           

  • Advises customer of total due amount (arrears + instalment due).
  • Confirms salary date and ensure correlations between salary date, PTP date and date last paid.
  • Advises customer of the relevant consequences of non-payment or benefits of making payment.
  • Negotiate for total due/Multiple PTPs.
  • Offers the option to pay via credit card and explain benefits of paying via credit card.
  • Offer a debit order and explain benefits of a debit order payment.
  • All info updated correctly and correct action codes used.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

Qualification/s:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Previous relevant experience (collections experience) is advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES           

  • Preparation for contacts answered.
  • Personality and quality of multimedia correspondence (works at enhancing relationships with customers).
  • Exercises good judgement as to when to educate the Customer (for example, benefits of payment, NCA, Fashion Delivery Service, consequences of non-payment etc.).
  • Administration – demonstrates an ability to adhere to administrative procedures with speed and accuracy.
  • Department performance – actively contributes towards responding to Customers within 48 hours. Drives own training.

Take inbound calls related to E-commerce (online) and Fashion Delivery orders

  • Assist the customer with tracking their orders
  • Assist customers with online profile
  • Liaising with couriers and stores and giving feedback to the customer

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • A minimum of 12 months experience within a contact centre in an agent or similar role

  • Using your considerable experience, expertise and great fashion eye you can absorb and work with these global trends to identify what is new and happening, in terms of colours, fabric, styles and trims for each Truworths brand for the next season.
  • Key to this role is your ability to communicate, energise and inspire our team of buyers, planners and merchandise leadership using this exciting fashion information to develop an extensive range of garments and styles with limited quantities of each item to ensure exclusivity.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

Experience / Knowledge:

  • To confidently apply your talents and skills to this awesome career opportunity, you will need 5+ years of design experience in a similar fashion retail or creative manufacturing environment.
  • Alternatively, as the role requires you to practically apply your creative energy; you may be one of those rare breeds of Fashion Buyers, who can move between the two or have experience in both design and buying.
  • Your skill set should include: Design skills with experience in – InDesign and Photoshop, as well as CAD skills with strong strength in product.
