Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will perform general security duties essential for the safety and functioning of SAPS facilities. These include:
- Access Control
- Enforcing the Control of Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act
- Checking IDs, verifying appointments, confirming visitors with hosts
- Issuing and collecting visitor cards
- Registering employees, visitors, contractors
- Searching & Screening
- Electronic and physical search of individuals entering premises
