Who Can Apply?
If you’re inspired to pursue a career in ICT and meet the following criteria, you’re encouraged to apply:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be currently studying or accepted to study at a recognised South African Higher Education Institution in 2026
- Must be pursuing or planning to pursue an ICT-related qualification such as:
- Information Technology and Information Systems
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- System and Network Administration
- Software Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Cybersecurity
- Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65% in the current or most recent academic year

Application Requirements
To be considered for the “Dare To Dream” Bursary, applicants must submit the following:
- A letter of motivation explaining why you’re a worthy candidate
- Certified ID copy
- Letter of acceptance from an accredited tertiary institution
- Statement of account or quotation from the institution (depending on whether you’re a first-year or returning student)
- Certified copy of Matric results (for first-year applicants)
- Academic transcripts for the last 12 months (for current students)
- Proof of disability, if applicable (e.g. medical letter)
