Programme 1: 2026/2027 merSETA Apprenticeship Programme
What Is This Apprenticeship About?
The merSETA Apprenticeship Programme is a structured artisan training pathway that combines classroom learning with practical, on-the-job experience at approved workplaces.
This apprenticeship runs for three (3) years and is designed for candidates who want to become qualified artisans in the electrical field.

Minimum Admission Requirements
To qualify for the apprenticeship, applicants must have:
- N3 Electrical Engineering, OR
- NCV Level 4 Electrical Engineering
- All subjects must be passed
- Must be unemployed
- Must not have participated in a previous apprenticeship or learnership
Preference will be given to Letaba TVET College students, but applications are open to all qualifying South Africans.

Programme 2: 2026/27 Internship / Workplace-Based Learning Programme
Who Is This Programme For?
This programme targets:
- Unemployed South African students and graduates
- Aged 18–35 years
- Holders of Grade 12, NQF Level 4, or NQF Level 5/6 qualifications
- Candidates who have never participated in a similar internship
Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend and be placed across Limpopo Province.
