The Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) has introduced an exciting TVET Learnership Programme aimed at empowering South African youth with practical workplace skills and exposure. This opportunity is specifically designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world practice, ensuring that learners from Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges gain the experience they need to kickstart their careers.
About the Programme
The TVET Learnership Programme is a structured initiative that provides learners with 12 months of hands-on workplace experience within various OCJ offices across the country. It is aligned to South Africa’s broader youth development agenda, particularly the government’s commitment to creating employment pathways through learnerships, internships, and experiential learning opportunities.
The Office of the Chief Justice is responsible for supporting the Chief Justice as the head of the judiciary. With offices spread across South Africa, the OCJ provides a professional environment where learners are exposed to critical areas such as administration, legal processes, finance, ICT, supply chain management, and human resource management. This programme is therefore ideal for TVET learners who require in-service training or workplace exposure to complete their qualifications.
